En los últimos 50 años, dos acontecimientos transformaron España para siempre y, en opinión de quien escribe, para bien. En primer lugar, hace 50 años, el 20 de noviembre, Franco falleció a los 95 años. En segundo lugar, el segundo acontecimiento que mejoró España fue su adhesión a la Comunidad Económica Europea (actualmente la Unión Europea). Esto ocurrió hace 40 años, el 1 de enero de 1986.
